iPads are currently used by students from Year 8 through to Year 12, with roll outs for students in Year 7 planned for later this year. We are delighted to be recognised as an Apple Distinguished School on the basis of our leading-edge use of the technology to enhance learning. We believe that tablet technology, when used appropriately, can significantly enhance students' learning. iPads can be engaging and exciting to use and can open up new ways of working: they enable students to research, collaborate,  create and organise their thinking in ways that would be difficult or even impossible with more traditional methods of teaching. 

Alongside the use of new technologies we still place great value on more traditional methods of teaching. Our philosophy is that teachers will select teaching methods, old and new, that have the most positive impact on students' learning.
