Langley Grammar School was previously inspected in 2007 and judged to be outstanding in all categories against the framework at the time. As such it was exempt from routine inspection for the next 14 years until the exemption was removed.
In that time Ofsted has revised its inspection framework several times, each one representing a raising of the expected educational standards in schools. The most recent framework, introduced in late 2019 shortly before the pandemic struck, introduced a new emphasis on the quality of the curriculum, students’ personal development and staff wellbeing.
Following the visit from a team of Ofsted inspectors in late November 2021, we are now able to share the final report.
We are delighted that that school has once again been judged to be OUTSTANDING – and outstanding in all five judgement areas, including our Sixth Form provision.
