A Level Results

Our Year 13 students have been celebrating as they received their A Level results this morning.

This year, following the cancellation of exams due to the pandemic, grades were awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards.

We are immensely proud of the academic and wider achievements of our Year 13 students, especially after such a difficult and disrupted period for them. They have shown incredible patience, resilience and determination and embody our school’s ethos of being confident and well-rounded, independent and creative, responsible and caring.

Our staff have worked incredibly hard to support them throughout this challenging time, continuing to provide excellent teaching during the school closures, and have done all they could to ensure that students can progress onto the next stage in their education.

Further details of the 2021 A Level outcomes can be found here.

The great majority of students obtained the grades they needed to secure their firm university offer, and  will be heading off to start their courses in the next few weeks.

Congratulations to every single student and we wish them all well for the future.
