      On the 5th March 2018 GCSE and A-level music students were given the opportunity to visit The Royal Festival Hall to see the London Philharmonic Orchestra. It was a wonderful opportunity to see and hear a live orchestra in a purpose built venue.

    • Langley Roboteers at National Finals

      Langley Roboteers performed admirably against very tough competition from 50 heat winners from all over England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales in the national finals. Mr Oakley, the teacher in charge of the group explains more below.

    • Senior House Music

      On Friday 9th February, the annual Senior House Music competition took place. It was a very competitive and enjoyable event where students in the upper school (years 10 – 13) were able to showcase their vast range of musical talent. It was also a great way to end the half term.

      On the 26th February 2018, a group of 6 Year 10 students went to Slough Hockey Club where they participated in officiating at a junior Slough Primary Schools Hockey Tournament.

      On Friday 26th January, year 12 students were privileged with the opportunity to have a discussion with a diverse group of professionals as part of a careers networking event. Sectors represented ranged from finance to pharmaceutical consultancy.

      On January 22nd, students from year 11 received the opportunity to watch a captivating performance of Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’, performed by a theatre company called Box Clever.

    • Year 12 Geography Visit to Northern Ireland

      The year 12 Geography fieldwork visit to Northern Ireland was definitely one to remember. The students coped well with the early mornings and ice cold weather while conducting their fieldwork investigations. They also had a great time doing a range of activities and meeting interesting people throughout the week.
