    • Sports Day a Great Success

      An impressive 832 students participated in at least one of 100 different events at this year’s sports day, held at Thames Valley Athletics Centre. Spirits were high and house pride was at stake, as students competed for the much coveted Sports Day trophies. Mr Bartlett, SL for PE explained more below.

    • Greek Myths Inspire Year 8

      Year 8 recently had the opportunity to experience a cross-curricular workshop that combined Drama, English and Music. The focus of the workshop was to explore different Greek myths and how combining the three subjects can make a great performance some alive.

    • District Athletics Success

      Our male and female athletics teams from years 7-10 competed in the Slough District Athletics competition on Friday 24th May.  A total of 13 secondary schools from Slough took part in the event at Thames Valley Athletics Centre in Eton.

    • Year 10 GCSE Geography Visit

      On Tuesday 14 May 2019, all of the Year 10 GCSE Geography students left Langley Grammar for a long journey south to Slapton Ley, south Devon. The aim of this 4-day long visit was to learn about coastal processes and coastal management strategies and deprivation in rural areas by conducting fieldwork in the local area.

      On Wednesday 24th March, a few students from each year had the opportunity to showcase their computing and iPad skills to delegates from the Ministry of Education in Singapore. The main purpose of their visit was to understand how computing is taught in UK secondary schools.
