    • Year 10 Business Studies Market Stalls

      On Tuesday 18th December, the Year 10 business studies class set up to run a market stall. They were given two lessons to come up with an idea of a product that they could sell on the market. The product had to be both original and appropriately priced.

      Year 11 Business pupils have been creative this term deciding on how to market cereal. They were given a packet of cereal, in a blank plastic bag and then told that they had to market it!

      On Monday 26th November, the Year 13 Economics cohort had the opportunity to attend a day’s conference at Friends House, Bloomsbury. Some of the topics discussed involved UK productivity, the nationalisation of the NHS and the impact of Brexit on the UK economy.

      On the 14th November the Year 13 students of Langley Grammar School provided people from the elderly communities of Langley and Chippenham a blast from the past by organising a 1950’s themed Afternoon Tea during the school's Focus Day.

      On Wednesday 14 November, the entire school had a Focus Day whereby we all participated in different activities such as a Maths workshop or went on a school trips. For the DofE participants, we took part in an enjoyable and very important first aid training course.

      On Wednesday 14th November the Year 8 students had the chance to experience a “Talk the Talk” programme. This event was designed to help us develop our confidence and improve our oracy skills. Every student had to present a speech to the class using key factors we had learnt during the day.
