    • Phase 1 - new teaching block

    Phase 1 involved the building of a new teaching block at the back of the school, on four of the old netball/tennis courts.

    This block has three floors and provides a range of new specialist teaching spaces and staff accommodation:

      Ground floor
    • Design Technology workshop and graphics rooms
    • Textiles/Art Textiles room, 3D Art room with kiln
    • Three Computing/ICT rooms
    • Small meeting rooms, offices and staff work area.

      First floor
    • Three general art rooms, one with a photographic darkroom
    • Six Computing/ICT rooms
    • Two general classrooms
    • New server room and IT technicians' office
    • Offices and staff work area

      Second floor
    • Ten new Science laboratories
    • Science preparation and storage area

    This block was completed in February 2020 and opened for student use just before the first national COVID-19 lockdown - click here for pictures of the facilities.
