Timings of the school day
The school day has five timetabled one-hour lessons together with a morning registration period for form time or assemblies.
This equates to 32.5 hours of structured curriculum time per week.
The timings of the normal school day are as follows:

| 9.50 - 9.55am | Movement time |
| 9.55 - 10.55am | Period 2 |
| 10.55 - 11.15 am | Morning Break |
| 11.15 - 12.15pm | Period 3 |
| 12.15 - 12.20pm | Movement time |
| 12.20 - 1.20pm | Period 4 |
| 1.20 - 2.15pm | Lunch break |
| 2.15 - 3.15pm | Period 5 |
Students are expected to arrive on site between 8.00 and 8.15am.
Extracurricular activities take place at lunchtime, and after school until approximately 4.15 - 4.30pm.
