  • Sixth Form Passport for Life Programme

    Our 'Passport for Life' programme is designed to prepare Sixth Form students in terms of the key skills that they will require later on in life after Langley Grammar School.

    Encompassing a range of talks and presentations throughout the year, topics include drugs education, an appreciation of how views are expressed from a wide range of organisations and inspirational speakers from a variety of subject fields. Sometimes the speakers are organised by the subject fellows, and these often include University lecturers.

    A strong emphasis is also placed on the pathway of what to do after leaving Langley Grammar School. There are University finance workshops, UCAS application advice and links to other career paths such as apprenticeships. There are also talks from alumni who explain their pathway and how they have reached where they are now in their careers. Students find the programme extremely valuable in preparing them for their futures and supporting them in making key decisions.
