• Open on the morning of    Thursday 4 September 2026 : Induction Day for Year 7 and Year 12, and Year 13 Assessments continue
• Open on the morning of    Friday 4 September 2026 – All students in school

October Half Term

Autumn Term Ends

Spring Term 2027

Focus Days

• Autumn Term - Tuesday 17 November 2026

• Spring Term - Wednesday 24 February 2027

• Summer Term - Thursday 10 June 2027

Students to attend school as normal on Focus Days, but they will be 'off timetable' and will engage in activities specially planned for their year group. 

School closures due to staff training (INSET) 

School will be closed to students on the following dates due to staff training:

• Tuesday 1 September 2026
• Wednesday 2 September 2026
• Tuesday 13 October 2026
• Monday 30 November 2026
• Wednesday 27 January 2027 
• Monday 21 June 2027

In addition, the school will close early for students on certain dates through the year to allow time for staff training those afternoons. 

• Monday 14 September 2026
• Wednesday 18 November 2026
• Tuesday 12 January 2027
• Wednesday 3 March 2027
• Tuesday 18 May 2027

On these dates school will finish at the end of period 4 (13:20). A limited 'grab and go' service will be available in the Dining Room for all students. Students are expected to be off-site from 13:40. However, if students need to stay, they should go to the library (Years 7 - 11) or Sixth Form study room (Years 12 and 13) where they may study under supervision until 3.15pm, our normal finishing time.
