Autumn Term 2026

• Tuesday 1 September -  Staff INSET Day
• Wednesday 2 September - Staff INSET Day and Year 13 Assessments
• Thursday 3 September 2026- Induction Day for Year 7 and Year 12, and Year 13 Assessments continue
• Friday 4 September 2026 – All students in school

October Half Term

• Close at normal time on Thursday 22 October 2026
• Students return on Monday 2 November 2026

Autumn Term Ends

• Term ends at 12:30pm on Friday 18 December 2026

 

Spring Term 2027

• Students return on Monday 4 January 2027

February Half Term

• Close at normal time on Friday 12 February 2027
• Students return on Monday 22 February 2027

Spring Term Ends

• Term ends at 12:30pm on Thursday 25 March 2027

 

Summer Term 2027

• Students return on Monday 12 April 2027

May Half Term

• Close at normal time on Friday 28^th May 2027
• Students return on Monday 7 June 2027

Summer Term Ends

• Term ends at 12:30pm on Friday 16 July 2027

 

Focus Days

• Autumn Term - Tuesday 17 November 2026

• Spring Term - Wednesday 24 February 2027

• Summer Term - Thursday 10 June 2027

Students to attend school as normal on Focus Days, but they will be 'off timetable' and will engage in activities specially planned for their year group. 

School closures due to staff training (INSET) 

School will be closed to students on the following dates due to staff training:

• Tuesday 1 September 2026
• Wednesday 2 September 2026
• Tuesday 13 October 2026
• Monday 30 November 2026
• Wednesday 27 January 2027 
• Monday 21 June 2027

In addition, the school will close early for students on certain dates through the year to allow time for staff training those afternoons.

• Tuesday 12 January 2027
• Wednesday 3 March 2027
• Tuesday 18 May 2027

On these dates school will finish at the end of period 4 (13:20). A limited 'grab and go' service will be available in the Dining Room for all students. Students are expected to be off-site from 13:40. However, if students need to stay, they should go to the library (Years 7 - 11) or Sixth Form study room (Years 12 and 13) where they may study under supervision until 3.15pm, our normal finishing time.
